BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has arrived in London to undergo cutting-edge care at The London Clinic after departing Dhaka on Tuesday night in a special air ambulance dispatched by the Emir of Qatar.
At 2:55 p.m. (Bangladsh time), the special air ambulance touched down at Heathrow International Airport, BNP Media Cell Member Sayrul Kabir Khan informed the media. Khaleda Zia, 79, a three-time former prime minister, boarded the Qatar Royal Family's Airbus A319 air ambulance at approximately 11:46 p.m. from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, traveling via Doha to London.
Khaleda's convoy proceeded slowly through the dense crowd of BNP leaders and activists lined the streets, causing the air ambulance to depart one hour and forty-six minutes late.
