In order to manage the wildfires, the governor of California has demanded an independent study of the water situation. A nighttime curfew has been enforced in the Eaton and Pacific Palisade areas, which are affected by the fire. Eleven fatalities from the fire have been reported by authorities thus far.


At a press conference, Los Angeles Police Chief McDonnell stated that only issues pertaining to safety and fire would be permitted. Additionally, he asked the inhabitants who had left the impacted region to refrain from returning right away because of the danger.


He added that while several residents of such localities were taken into custody by the police, no one was taken into custody for looting. However, with the wind expected to get stronger, many residents are afraid that the fire can spread once more. Read more....
